Te Manawa and Te Marae O Hine

On Wednesday 3rd of April the senior team walked to Te Manawa and Te Marae O Hine. Te Marae O Hine is the square. It is named this is Te Reo because in the past the square was used as a meeting place for different tribes. The name means peace. We all enjoyed the trip out of school for the day.

Welcome to 2019

2019 is well underway and I look forward to seeing you all - for those who don't know me I'm Ms Black and this is my friend Leo. Both of us are new to the Senior School this year and are looking forward to making new memories, learning lots and enjoying one another's company.

I hope that everyone had a fantastic break, enjoying the sun and spending time with loved ones. Remember when you start back to bring your beautiful smiles, sun hat and drink bottle - as its going to be super hot!

The senior had our EOTC week on the 26 February to 2 March.  We had horse riding, trekking, Surf Life Saving, rock climbing and trampolining at Flip City.  Overall the children had great fun and a lot of them challenged themselves to do things outside of their comfort zone. I am super proud of them all.
